Case Study: Building Fleet Management Solutions for Enterprise Clients

June 2, 2025 · 7 min read

FoxFleet began as our entry in the SCG Hackathon 2023, where it won first place competing against over 100 teams. Since then, it has evolved into a comprehensive Transport Management System serving fleet operators across Thailand. This case study shares the journey from hackathon prototype to enterprise-grade platform, and the lessons we learned along the way.

The core challenge our enterprise clients face is managing complexity at scale. A typical fleet operation involves hundreds of vehicles, thousands of daily deliveries, dozens of drivers, and countless variables — traffic, weather, vehicle maintenance schedules, customer delivery windows, and regulatory requirements. FoxFleet addresses this complexity through intelligent automation: AI-optimized route planning, predictive maintenance alerts, automated dispatch, and real-time exception management.

Integration was the most requested and most challenging feature. Our enterprise clients use SAP, Oracle, and custom ERP systems, each with different APIs and data formats. We built a flexible integration layer that connects FoxFleet to any backend system through standardized APIs and configurable data mapping. This approach reduced integration timelines from months to weeks and enabled our clients to see FoxFleet data alongside their existing operational dashboards.

The results speak for themselves: clients using FoxFleet report average fuel cost reductions of 18%, on-time delivery improvements of 23%, and a 65% reduction in manual dispatch coordination effort. One logistics company managing 200+ vehicles saved over 8 million baht annually within 6 months of full deployment. These numbers demonstrate that purpose-built Thai software, designed for local conditions and integrated with local systems, delivers superior results compared to generic international platforms.
